Dedicated Leadership

After serving more than 18 years in the Singapore Armed Forces, Fariezan pursued his deep passion for education, leadership development, and community empowerment by founding Edxel Academy (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. in 2024, a training and education consultancy focused on developing individuals, leaders, and organisations. In 2026, he further expanded his social impact efforts by establishing The Family Cornerstone Ltd., a non-profit dedicated to strengthening families and empowering underserved communities across Singapore.

Fariezan is also an active grassroots leader with the People's Association (PA), serving in several key community leadership appointments. He currently chairs Zhenghua's Community Development Welfare Fund (CDWF), a registered charity with IPC that provides short-term financial assistance to residents facing financial hardship. He also chairs Zhenghua's Malay Activity Executive Committee (MAEC), and serves as Assistant Secretary of PA MESRA, the national coordinating body that supports MAECs across more than 100 Community Clubs and Community Centres throughout Singapore. In addition, he is also the Division Lead for the Yellow Ribbon Community Project, where he works alongside community partners to support families affected by incarceration.

Recognised for his leadership and commitment to community service, Fariezan was selected for and successfully completed the inaugural Leadership in Community Programme in 2025, a prestigious six-month leadership development initiative by PA designed to prepare high-potential civic and community leaders for greater responsibilities in nation-building and community leadership.

He holds a Master of Arts in Educational Management from Nanyang Technological University and a Graduate Diploma in Organisational Leadership. He is also a certified Coach, Counsellor, and Youth Mentor. Above all, he values his role as a husband and father. He is happily married to his wife, Zhenwei, and together they are blessed with two wonderful children.
